Deputies looking for hotel robbery suspect
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect that robbed a Hampton Inn late Thursday afternoon.
Deputies say a man came into the hotel lobby at the 2500 block of County Road 208, went up to the clerk and hit him in the head with a gun.
The suspect left the area in a light or creme colored, 4-door passenger vehicle with dark tinted windows. Deputies describe the suspect as a black male in his mid-20's to mid-30's, about 5'8" tall. He was wearing black pants and a white shirt. He may be with a white female with blonde hair, wearing jeans and a turquoise colored top.
The clerk was taken to Flagler Hospital.
