Deputies looking for iPad thief

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- Clay County sheriff's deputies are searching for someone who stole an iPad from a store.

Police responded to Planet Cellular Inc at the 600 block of Blanding Boulevard in Orange park for a theft.

Employees told deputies that a man came in the store and asked about three different cell phones. The man then took the demo iPad off the display shelf an tucked it under his arm and left the store without paying for it.

The iPad was activated on the display shelf and ready for use.

Police reviewed the surveillance camera of the suspect. He is described as 6 feet tall, and weighed between 200-220 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt and white shorts.
