PALM COAST, Fla. – A Palm Coast man was taken into custody Monday night under the Baker Act after keeping deputies and neighbors on edge for a time.
Deputies said 29-year-old Aaron Dorris was believed to be armed and suicidal when authorities went searching for him around 6:30 p.m. He was found with infra-red indicators in a wooded area just after 9 p.m.
Deputies believe Dorris might have stolen a relatives gun. They continued to search for the weapon.
The Flagler County Sheriff praised the work of his force, saying: “We were able to resolve this with a positive result-Mr. Dorris was found safe and no one was injured.”
