VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. (WFTV) -- Volusia County deputies are searching for a Deltona woman who left for a hair appointment but never showed up.

Carol Ann Hill Alderman, 70, has the beginning stages of Alzheimer's disease, according to a release. She was last seen at her Fallwood Drive home around 1:30 p.m. wearing a white top and blue jeans.

She left the house at that time but didn't make it for her 2:30 p.m. appointment.

Her husband notified deputies at 7:19 p.m.

Deputies searched for her silver Kia Sorrento with license plate 435KVD.

Neither Alderman nor her car have been found. She is about 5 feet 5 inches tall, has brownish-colored hair and may be wearing glasses.

Anyone who has information about Alderman's whereabouts is asked to call 386-736-5999 or 911 if there is an emergency.
