Deputy sheriff charged in drug trafficking
PIERCE COUNTY, Ga. -- A deputy sheriff in Georgia is admitting to helping drug traffickers.
At federal court in Waycross this morning, Randy Strickland entered a guilty plea.
The former Pierce County deputy sheriff acted as security and even a lookout for meth dealers. Investigators say he even did it while in uniform.
He faces 20 years when he's sentenced but a date has not been set.
