Secrets on Mars

NASA's Mars Curiosity rover has apparently made a discovery "for the history books." But, we'll have to wait to find out what it is.

According to N-P-R, the discovery came from soil analyzed on the rover's SAM or Sample Analysis at Mars. That's the rover's onboard chemistry lab.

Curiosity's chief scientist told NPR the data is, "looking really good."

They won't be ready to announce what SAM found for another several weeks.

The scientists want to double check the results.
