Dog escapes house fire near Town Center
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A dog is left to guard what's left of its home after a fire destroyed it.
Flames ripped through the residence on Anson Place just north of the Town Center Shopping Center. Neighbors say the homeowner was not there at the time of the fire. The dog escaped without any noticeable injuries.
Firefighters say the house appears to be a total loss.
