Dozens hurt after Daytona crash debris hits stands

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - At least 33 fans were injured Saturday during a NASCAR race when a car flew into the fence at Daytona International Speedway, hurling a tire and large pieces of debris into the stands.

NASCAR = ROAD RAGE RELEASE !!! love the sport for over 45 years now,, yet NASCAR needs to define the conditions better... if the other driver has a faster car, then blocking should be against the rules.. skill,, not ,,should be the defining act of racing.. skill of the crew who puts the car together & skill of the driver to negotiate the track.. yeah i know some folks go solely for the wrecks,, but NASCAR can survive without the sadists !!!

28 people injured…Prayers to all!! As of now, 1 in surgery, 1 with "major injuries". God bless, and thoughts and prayers going up!
