PONTE VEDRA, Fla. -- The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is warning people attending The Players this weekend to stay hydrated.

Jeremy Robshaw with St. Johns County Fire Rescue tells Action News that between 15 to 30 people attending the annual event have been people treated and released over past two days for minor heat exhaustion.

He also says five attendees were hospitalized yesterday for various injuries, not related to the heat.

He suggests people drink plenty of water before and during the event and stay in shaded areas when possible.
