JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- With the wet ground from Sunday's rain combined with a light breeze off the Atlantic, areas of fog will develop overnight. Temperatures will drop to near 60 degrees. Fog will lift early Tuesday allowing for a mostly sunny and nice day with highs close to 80 degrees. Once again an easterly breeze will bring cooler temperatures to the beaches and intracoastal. Similar weather for Tuesday night-Wednesday before higher humidity returns by late week along with an increasing chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms.
