JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has identified the driver of the mini-van that crashed into JaNay Jackson's bedroom Tuesday morning.

According to police, 51-year-old Ismet Sijamhodzic of Jacksonville drove through a stop sign on the corner of Kennerly and Barnes road early Tuesday morning.  The van slammed into the 17 year old's bedroom wall.  JaNay Jackson was transported to UF and Shands Hospital where she died.

Sijamhodzic has not been charged, and police say the case is still under investigation.

According to court records, Sijamhodzic has had several traffic offenses in the past. They include speeding, reckless driving and running a stop sign.
