Driver stumbles upon smash and grab at local Dollar General

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A driver trying to get around a fatal accident on 103rd street stumbled across more breaking news.

Adam Madrid was driving down 103rd when he saw the Dollar General's front entrance smashed in.

Madrid said he ran in to see if the employees were okay.

Employees told him they were shaken up but alright.

Employees said someone smashed their vehicle into the business to try and steal items from the store, but got away with nothing.

time for all stores to place jersey barriers by the curbs, longways, with walk thrus for shoppers to pass thru... or decorative concrete planters along the curb line, filled with dirt.. as this is fast becoming the preferred method to break into bldgs, it would force them to come up with a plan b.... planters could be 6 feet long 2 feet wide and 3 feet high filled with concrete & a top layer of soil for the plants...

This proves that criminals really ARE stupid. Smash and grab at a DOLLAR GENERAL? That's almost like breaking into a Goodwill Donation Box.
