JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The cold front is through! It's actually the first of two to really change our overall weather pattern.

Much drier weather is back...and here to stay. The First Alert Weather Team is calling for mostly sunny days and clear skies at night over the next week or so.

Temperatures will be below normal starting tonight/Thursday morning. We're forecasting lows in the 40s around the northern and western portions of Duval County. We'll see 50s at the beaches and along the St. Johns River.

This "chilly" range of temperatures will continue right through the weekend: 45-50 for the official minimum temp in Jacksonville. A second front late Friday reinforces the unseasonably cool air. Our average low is a milder 58 degrees.

More seasonal air returns next week.
