BRUNWICK, Ga. -- Day four of testimony in the Guy Heinze, Jr. trial is underway. The prosecution continues to call witnesses.
A member of Glynn County Police Department's drug task force is on the stand testifying that marijuana was found on Heinze when he was arrested.
Heinze, 26, is accused of killing his father, uncle, aunt, cousins and a family friend in a bloody, drug-induced rage in August 2009. A medical examiner testified each victim died of blunt force trauma.
Heinze said he came home from a night out and found the bodies inside the single-wide trailer they all shared.
His defense attorney questions whether one man could beat eight people to death without waking up anyone.
Heinze has pleaded not guilty to the charges. He faces the death penalty if convicted.
