JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- For the first time since the verdict, Jordan Davis' parents spoke to "Good Morning America" on Wednesday, as the reality of what happened in the jury room Saturday finally started settling in.

His mother, Lucia McBath, said, "We believe absolutely, with all out hearts, they did everything they could to come with what they believe was the most just decision."

She said it was a just decision, but not the decision the teen's family wanted.

Davis' father, Ron Davis, said, "These people are torn because of the jury instruction, I believe. Not because of the case."

Action News got a copy of the jury instructions. They're 40 pages long, and they detail each charge, each lesser charge and what constitutes self-defense.

Juror #4, the only juror to speak out at this point, said Dunn's attorney suggested the jury start its deliberation at page 25. That was the page that outlined justifiable use of force.

It said, "The use of deadly force is justifiable if Michael Dunn reasonably believes that the force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm."

Turn to page 26 and it said, "The danger to Michael Dunn need not have been actual."  He just had to believe "that the danger was real."

It goes on to say Dunn "had the right to stand his ground and meet force with force."

Ron Davis said, "In Florida, you have the stand your ground instruction, even though the defense does not file for stand your ground, it's in the instructions for self-defense.  So it confuses juries."

McBath ended the interview by saying, "Justice for Jordan will be ultimately when we change the laws."

You know what sperm doner and dum cumpster? You are right.. the laws should be changed and the first change is that parents of children who commit violent acts should be charged as well. If you dont teach your kid to show respect and not to act like a thug dog then you are as guilty as anyone for thier death. In this case they could have turned down teh music and once they are back on the road again turn it back up, or just be aware of the world around them and listen to it at a reasonable volume but that would somehow be racist to ex slaves, right? WRONG. None if this would have happened if the thugs would have been taught to be respectful and to show a bit of compassion for the world around them instead of being the tribal fodder that they are. It wasnt a first degree murder regardless, it wasnt pre-meditated and it was an act of self defence plain and simple. If Davis had stayed in the car and not started threatening Dunn this wouldnt be a story but that will never happen. Whites, like the ones that testified are so use to blacks acting stupid rather than deal with them they park way out of the way, they dont make eye contact, they dont interact, its like our lives are on contract. Its best to just stay away or itll be one of those days! Ha, cool! Anyway why should we have to behave like that? Why do thugs behave like they do? Its what the real world has taught us, blacks are more than likely going to be a problem of some sort so just stay away, and thats not fair to the good American folks that are not white and that contribute and try to make this country a better place every day. You know why Uncle Toms and house n-ers are so pissed? Becasue they are looked at the same way the thugs are... at the end of the day we base our actions on past experiences and there are stereotypes for a reason. Not all fit, but its a case of "mostly". We cant change that until the black parents change thier tactics and get the youth to be part of the system.
