JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- JEA customers now have a new option when it comes to paying their bills. Duval County Tax Collector Michael Corrigan announced Wednesday that customers can now pay their JEA bill in person at any of the nine Tax Collector branch locations.
"We continually look for opportunities to enhance the services provided by the Tax Collector's Office," Corrigan said. "Partnering with JEA to add this convenient payment option to customers is a natural fit."
JEA customers will not have to pay an additional fee for JEA payments made at the Tax Collector's office. That payment will be credited to the customer's JEA account within one hour.
Customers must have their JEA bill or account number with them in order to make payment. Tax Collector offices can accept cash, check or money order for JEA payments. As an added convenience, five Tax Collector offices will now offer drive-thru service for payment of JEA bills.
All nine Tax Collector locations are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Holidays.
