Duval school board to change evaluation of Superintendent
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Duval Schools Superintendent Nikolai Vitti will get a grade of his own from the school board.
Board members are debating how he should best be evaluated on his goals for the district.
The board is in its third workshop to finalize the evaluation matrix, which is designed to rate his strengths and weaknesses against his designed plan.
They asked Vitti not to be present during discussions. The board wants to evaluate Vitti the same way teachers are evaluated in the classroom.
The board will vote on the evaluation when it decides on a specific format.
