Elderly bus monitor bullied
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A school bus monitor suffered through vulgar taunts and even threats while escorting school kids on a field trip.
Karen Klein endured the bullying by middle school kids in upstate New York. The whole incident was caught on camera.
Klein says she didn't even realize how awful the taunts were because she was trying to ignore it.
The students on the bus called her names and threatened violence. One comment from a student spoke about how her children should kill themselves. Klein's oldest son committed suicide a few years ago.
No students have been disciplined yet but the school has launched an investigation.
People are reaching out to support Ms. Klein. A website called indiegogo.com raised more than $100,000 to send her on a vacation.
