Elderly gunman in standoff
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police say they have an elderly man in custody after he fired shots at his neighbors, then barricaded himself in a home for hours.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office SWAT Team responded to Huron Street on the Westside early Wednesday morning. They say the 79 year old had fired several shots at neighbors before going inside.
Negotiators were able to get that man to surrender peacefully. He is now in custody.
