JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Emerald City Learning Center on Soutel Drive in Jacksonville is licensed to care for 52 children.
When the DCF Inspector paid a visit to the place a half dozen violations were uncovered.
A couple of the problem areas include:
-The facility's driver did not have a certificate of course completion for first aid and/or infant child CPR.
-And the facility did not have at least one staff member with a current and valid certificate of course completion for first aid training.
The six violations combined takes some of the shine off Emerald City Learning Center for this kid care report.
But several other places did do very well and landed On The Mark. Those center are; Hope Chapel Christian Assembly, Bank of America Child Development Center, and Little Royalty Learning Center, all in Jacksonville. And all had violation free state inspections.
