JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Rain will continue on-and-off this evening then diminish to a few lingering showers by midnight.
The same storm system that is bringing ice and snow to a large portion of the Southeast is responsible for the local rain. Everyone will get rain with amounts averaging a quarter to three-quarters of an inch but as much as 1-1.5" south of Jacksonville.
As the storm moves away, skies will clear by Thursday afternoon but with gusty northwest winds and cool temperatures only reaching the 50s. A light inland frost will occur early Friday -- mainly west of I-95.
