NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -- The FBI says a powder mailed to several locations in New York and New Jersey, including at least five hotels near the site of Sunday's Super Bowl, appears not to be dangerous.

The agency says further testing is being conducted on the substance. It says it is "within normal values."

It was also sent to former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's business in Manhattan.

At the Homewood Suites in East Rutherford, General Manager Thomas Martucci said when he opened up a letter sent to the motel, yellow powder fell out.

He says a typed letter inside referenced al-Qaida and the Dallas FBI.

PS anyone tells you the anthrax vaccine from Desert Storm was safe and caused no problems is guilty of propaganda. Read the testimony to Congress in 1993. That testimony is now discounted as being lie. Officers and enlisted willing lied under oath about shots making them sick.

Since the military will ruin you if you refuse the anthrax vaccine news media should focus on how many in Congress are required to get vaccinated. They were attacked with Anthrax where the military has not. They take same oath of office to defend our Constitution as the troops. Yet they feel they deserve the right to refuse vaccines while the common person may not.
