JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Engineers with the Florida Department of Transportation say the bridge will not reopen until it's structurally sound.
FDOT released new video of crews working on the bridge Thursday.
So far, engineers raised the damaged bridge deck about 2 inches. The deck dropped 4 inches when a ship hit it last month.
The Coast Guard is still investigating how it happened.

Mike Goldman, a spokesman for FDOT, said engineers can't make a committment to opening the bridge to one-way traffic by Sunday. It's a day-to-day process that "we just can't predict," said Goldman.
Inspectors will be doing another inspection Friday and should know more by then. The earliest the bridge could open is next Friday or Saturday, according to Goldman.
The goal is to have the bridge back open by Florida-Georgia weekend on Nov. 2.
