JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- A stationary front will stay very near Northeast Florida and Jacksonville through Wednesday helping to trigger on-and-off showers and thunderstorms. Rain will be heavy at times with average rainfall of 1-2" but locally 3"+. Be prepared for wet roads and slow travel. When the rain lets up, skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with very humid temperatures in the 70s at night and 80s during the day.
