FSCJ narrows presidential search down to two candidates
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Florida State College at Jacksonville is closer to picking the school's next president.
The finalists for the position are Dr. Cynthia Bioteau, president of Salt Lake Community College; and Dr. Garrett Hinshaw, president of Catawba Valley Community College.
FSCJ's previous leader, Dr. Steve Wallace, left his post in October 2012 amid an investigation into the wrongful awarding of financial aid to students.
Since late 2012, an interim president has run the college.
The FSCJ District Board of Trustees hopes to pick their next leader this October.
