FSCJ student fighting back against fine

JACKSONVILLE Fla.-- FSCJ may be facing more than $500,000 in fines after issuing millions of dollars in Federal Pell Grants they weren't supposed to. Now, some students say they are the ones really suffering, left to pay back thousands of dollars they thought they would get.

As usual, this story is misleading. The students aren't paying "fines". They are being hit up for the grant money that they received from FSCJ. However, I think The college should pay it back since it made the error, not the students.

durden goesn't have to worry about repaying his loans !!! uncle sam will simply garnish his salary(s) , until such time as his and all the others are settled !!! college students,, trying to tell us they didn't know they weren't entitled to the money ??? please !!! if this is what an education these college folks are getting,, then the college should be shuttered for stupidity... they hoped they would get a free ride & now the chickens have come home to roost,, they cry fowl ??? oh, and kiss those tax refunds you were expecting good bye too !!! uncle sam takes those as well !!!
