LAKE CITY, Fla. -- Investigators say a break-in at a local business was solved with the help of social media.

Green's Marine was burglarized April 15 and the crime was caught on a security camera. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office posted images on Facebook and several tips led them to Macclenny residents Brandi and Ira Thompson.

The pair admitted to the crime and a search of their home turned up items from Green's Marine, according to the police report.

Stolen property from residential burglaries in Baker County, Fla., and Charlton County, Ga., were also discovered. Among those items were archery equipment, a four-wheeler, and seven firearms.

Brandi, 33, and Ira, 39, now faces criminal charges in all three counties.
