PALM COAST, Fla. -- A suspicious fire forced several families out of their home in Flagler County.

Six homes on Woodstone Lane in Palm Coast were evacuated just before 11 p.m., Tuesday because wind threatened to push the fire. At least one home was engulfed by the flames.

Investigators say Harold Pizzetta, 54, was sitting near that home when they arrived and while crews battled the fire. He says someone broke into the home, set the fire, then left. He was taken to the hospital and treated for burns.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
