ORANGE PARK, Fla.-- Police are providing new hope for the family of murdered mother Jillian Berrios.
A month after she was shot outside an Orange Park apartment complex, police have released new surveillance video that captured the final moments of her life.
Investigators believe the people they are looking for may have been driving the red Chevrolet Aveo hatchback seen in the video.
Members of her family hope someone will recognize it and bring them peace before the holidays, especially for her two small children.
"The little boy, he's the one passing the tissues to us and telling us, 'Don't cry; mommy's in heaven,' and it's just devastating," said Zulma, a family friend.
Zulma said it doesn't make any sense that Berrios was killed killed, because she had no enemies.
"She was not a troublemaker," she said.
The spot where Berrios took her last breath is where her children and the rest of her family come to mourn.
"It's been hard, especially for the oldest. They know they have an angel now, but they miss mom," said Zulma.
While nothing can bring their mother back, police hope someone can catch her killer.
"People like this don't need to be in the street," she said.
Anyone who recognizes the vehicle in the video is asked to contact Orange Park Police or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
