JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It was an emotional day at the Duval County Courthouse for the parents of Jordan Davis. They got their first glimpse at their son's alleged killer in months.

For Jordan's mom Lucia, being in the same room as Michael Dunn was unbearable.

"I never looked at him and, at this point, it's very difficult to because I really feel he has no remorse and I truly believe that he believes he had all the right to do what he did and I cant look at him," said Lucia McBath.

Both parents say they didn't get what they wanted most out of the hearing today. They want a final court date. Dunn's attorney asked for more time to review paperwork before a trial.

"It's very very hurting to our family for me and Lucy to be here day in and day out," said Ron Davis.

Jordan's mom said she will remain strong for her son. She plans on making the trip from atlanta to be at every single hearing and court appearance to honor Jordan's life.

"We just want people to celebrate life," said Lucia. "It is not promised to you, we don't know when we wont be able to enjoy the life we have right now."

No joewW07, Jordan Davis is dead because of Michael Dunn's anger and impulse control issues. I hope that Michael Dunn spend most of the rest of his life in prison.

If Tommie Stornes was obeying his probation orders and was at home like he was order to be, this would not even have took place...He broke the law and got Jordon killed but is still walking free...http://www.dc.state.fl.us/ActiveOffenders/detail.asp?Bookmark=1&From=list&SessionID=338619911
