JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It seems like MoJo is finally all in. After 38 days of holding out for more money, the Jaguars running back returned Sunday morning. And most fans are welcoming him back with open arms. Mel Hammock says, "I was very happy to hear it, I'm glad to see him back." Milo Grant says, "I'm glad the whole issue is resolved. I understand him trying to get his money, but it's time to play some football." But others are a little upset about the whole thing. Lisa Weyant says, "I wish he hadn't held out so long for nothing." Mike Fearieg says, "Fans here. We love MoJo, but I think we lost a lot of respect for him for holding out on us."
What about the $1.2 million in fines Jones-Drew technically owes the Jags for reporting this late? Mikey Horwat says, "That's between him and them. I just want him to hit holes and score touchdowns." "He was just trying to get an extra buck in his salary. So you can't knock anybody for trying to do that," says Grant. Others see it a different way. "In an economy like we have right now, where people are struggling to buy tickets and even go to the game, and you got people wanting more money, it puts a bad taste in our mouth," says Fearieg.
Most fans will agree, the biggest concern they have now is the five weeks of training camp he missed. Weyant says, "He's going to be way behind. He hasn't been working out at all with the new play book." "I think his workout is going to be key. We just don't want him to get injured before the season starts," says Grant.
