JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars are revved up and ready for the new season.
You should be too. This year when you head to EverBank to watch the team, you should notice some significant changes.
"One of the most exciting things is called The Prowl. Prior to the Jaguars first entering the field for the start of the game they'll actually be walking through a public space where Jaguars fan cheer them on just before they go on the field," President Mark Lamping said.
That's not all. You'll also be able to bring food into the stadium as long as it's unwrapped and inside an 11 by 11 freezer bag and hear play by play on an upgraded audio system.
You'll also be able to take advantage of the "Sea Best Cool Zone" on hot days and have more interactive games for kids and adults along with discounted concessions.
Fans will now also be able to enter the seating bowl two hours prior to kick-off as opposed to 90 minutes.
"I think any little thing you can do to make the experience better than sitting on your couch at home is good for everybody," fan Greg Corcoran said.
"If we pack EverBank field that does a lot of great things. The NFL is all about competitive balance and we can somehow create an even stronger homefield advantage...and perhaps give our team a little bit of an advantage, that will pay dividends going forward," Lamping said.
