JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move quickly northward this evening affecting areas mainly near and west of I-95. While rain will be heavy in spots, it will not last long with a tendency for the rain to diminish between 8 and 10pm. Otherwise skies will be mostly cloudy with muggy temperatures slowly falling from the 80s into the 70s. Breezy southeast winds will do a good job of breaking up the smoke from area fireworks displays. Click ** here
