Fatal accident in west Duval County
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville man was killed Saturday morning in an accident after colliding with a tractor-trailer in west Duval County.
The driver, 42-year-old John O'Brien, was driving along State Road 228 and did not stop at the stop sign at the intersection at U.S. 301. The front end of his F150 hit the front of an oncoming semi.
The tractor-trailer jackknifed and O'Brien was ejected out of his truck.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
