Fatal crash kills 82-year-old Florida man
NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. -- A fatal crash Monday night in Nassau County killed an 82-year-old man from North Ft. Myers.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, George Miller was driving north on U.S. Highway 301 about 4 miles south of Otis Road around 6:25pm. Miller was driving a mobile home. A report shows, he crossed the center line and hit a pick up truck driven by 47-year-old Harold Lassiter of Winterhaven.
FHP said Miller was pronounced dead at the scene and Lassiter was taken to Shands Jacksonville with critical injuries.
