Father rats out daughter for stealing shotgun & saws
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Two women are in jail accused of robbery. One is in jail because of her father.
Kenneth Rosebud knew something wrong was when his daughter Teresa Taylor and Alisha Johnson entered their house with two chainsaws, a long saw, tree climbing equipment and a .22 caliber long rifle shotgun.
Rosebud called police to say his daughter was a suspect in a burglary.
He also had concerns about Alisha Johnson, who had been arrested for shooting someone during an argument.
Rosebud feared she might use the stolen gun if confronted.
Police and the K9 unit went to the home where the suspects consented to a search of their home.
Police found stolen items and drugs all over the house.
The two women told police they stole the items so they could buy drugs.
They were arrested and booked into the Duval County jail.
The two are charged with Burglary and Drug Possession.
