Fiery crash kills 1 along I-295
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A driver of a black 2007 Chevrolet Impala was killed along Interstate 295 Sunday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP states that the Impala was traveling northbound on the interstate, near Normandy Boulevard, when it veered off the roadway and rolled over.
The car eventually ended up catching on fire, before first responders arrived. The cause of the crash is not known.
Troopers are having a difficult time making an identification of the driver.
The driver died at the scene, according to FHP
