Final phase of courthouse project hits snag

From the pictures I saw on TV something besides sitting vacant happened to the building. The first thing that come to my mind was Thieves & Bums. If the City had paid officers to protect the building full time, the damage would have been minimal and all that extra money would not have been needed. On top of that, other property owners would have benefitted by all the Thieves attempting to break in to steal would have gotten locked up and still be locked up. Since this is after the fact perhaps the City should seek other action to recover some of the needed money from whatever party was responsible for protecting our property.
