JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- The wildfire danger will be very high the next couple days before some much needed rain moves into the area later Saturday. In the meantime, gusty winds, low humidity and dry vegetation will combine for a very high fire risk through at least midday Saturday. Highs will jump to near 80 degrees Friday and into the low to mid 80s Saturday. There will only be a few scattered showers, especially over Southeast Georgia through Saturday morning before an approaching cold front increases rain and a few thunderstorms for Jacksonville, Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia late Saturday into Saturday night.
