JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- A fire at a Jacksonville Beach restaurant Tuesday morning is out. But, Jacksonville Beach police estimate damages around $50K.

Police got the call at about 2:45 a.m. reporting that Picnic Pizza caught fire.

Two nearby restaurants - Colonel Mustard's Fat Burgers and Sala Thad Thai Restaurant - also suffered smoke damage, but are expected to open later today.

Det. Andy Redding from the State Fire Marshal's Office said the fire was caused by the ovens at Picnic Pizza. He said the ovens - usually left on a low heat- were not turned down at closing and pizza boxes caught fire.
