As his son, I just want to say that you don't know all the details and to comment on his livelihood without knowing is ignorant.

You know I'm going to get my due for saying this, BUT why are Blacks STILL crying about this every time they feel discriminated against? IF I had been a decendent from a African family back in them days they were forced into slavery, MY uppity nose would be so out of joint with pride, KNOWING my ancestors help build this GREAT COUNTRY to what it is today. The only difference is, they help build it, without their freedoms we take for granted today. Where's their PRIDE? I personally feel a huge debt of gratitude for their 'service', for without it, this Country would not have rose to the most powerful Country in the world. If this man had felt he was being wronged at the fire station, he should have filed with the EEO...with an attorney$$$$$! Money usually makes ME smile once in a while.

Now,Now, You know it would just stir things up if they fire the cheif. It's never been about if your white or black, because you know you can't have white pride day, white college's, white history month or anything else that even relates to whites only. Get with the game plan, we gave our rights up long ago!

If this had been a white fireman he would most certainly have been suspended at the very least. Where is the ACLU, where are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, where is the public out cry? Fire this Captain and I'll bet they will all come out of the woodwork to cry injustice.
