Firefighters disciplined for racy show
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The firefighters who took part in a racy exhibition at a fundraiser for a fallen firefighter will be disciplined by the department.
JFRD spokesman Tom Francis said he didn't know what the punishment will be, beyond a letter of reprimand.
The firefighters danced suggestively, some with their shirts off at a fundraiser at Whisky River for Jason Bishop. The father of three died in June during a tree cutting incident.
Even though Francis said the JFRD investigation is complete, he did not know whether the firefighters were using city-issued gear.
