JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --  About 20 local firefighters will participate in the St. Baldrick's head shaving fundraiser to benefit children fighting cancer.

The event takes place Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Whisky River at the St. Johns Town Center.

The firefighters are trying to raise money for the St. Baldrick's foundations. So far, they have raised about half of their $10,000 goal.
