JACKSONVILLE (ActionNewsJax.com) -- First Lady Michelle Obama spoke to a packed house at the University of Florida on Monday.
According to the First Lady, Monday's crowd at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center was the biggest she's spoken to at a campaign rally.
At the event, Mrs. Obama talked about how important students at UF, and all young people are to keeping President Obama in the White House.
"All our hard work is on the line," said Mrs. Obama. "This election will be closer than the last one. And it will all come down to some battle ground states like Florida."
Gainesville Mayor Craig Lowe is an Obama supporter. He says the President is the right choice--for Florida, for the country.
"Its crucial for so many reasons. For our economy and our foreign policy to make sure we continue the progress that we made the last four years," said Lowe.
