ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- The Medical Examiner is calling the drowning death of a local fisherman an accident.

Crews recovered the body of 29-year-old Lorenzo Moore, Jr., from the St. Johns River Sunday afternoon.  He disappeared near the Shands Pier just south of Fruit Cove.  He went into the water to retrieve a cast net and vanished.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office, The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, air units and dive teams were all dispatched to participate in the search.

Moore's body was found just after 5:30 p.m. 20-30 feet north of the pier.  Moore was from Jacksonville.
