Flagler deputy charged with domestic violence

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputies arrested one of their own in Flagler County.

Ronn Rauber, 42, has been suspended without pay following his arrest Sunday on a charge of domestic violence.

Deputies received a 911 call from the couple's home on Sunday night.  Rauber, according to investigators, became angry after finding out that his ex-wife introduced one of their children to a male friend.

Rauber faces a misdemeanor battery charge.  His ex-wife told investigators he pinned her by her wrists against a bedroom wall.  Rauber denied the claims.

The two are divorced but live together.

Rauber has been with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office since 1993.
