JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Major flooding has forced Jacksonville Police to close McCoy Creek Boulevard between Acosta Street and King Street.

Action News called Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department early Friday morning to inform them about the extreme flooding. About 30 minutes later, JSO shut down the roadway.

A flash flood warning is issued for the entire Duval County.

McCoy's Creek is one of the most notorious flooding places in Duval County.

Currently barricades are placed around the flooded areas.
