Florida State Parks evacuated due to Tropical Storm Andrea

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Due to tropical storm warnings, some Florida state parks are being evacuated.

Affected campers who request refunds will receive refunds for any unused days of their reservation with all cancellation fees waived.

State park officials say they will continue to monitor conditions throughout the day and will close day-use areas when Tropical Storm conditions are present.

Below is a list of the parks that are now evacuated:

  • Caladesi Island
  • Cross Florida Greenway
  • Fanning Springs
  • Faver-Dykes
  • Fort Clinch
  • Gamble Rogers
  • Gold Head Branch
  • Highlands Hammock
  • Hillsborough River
  • Lafayette Blue Springs
  • Lake Manatee
  • Little Manatee
  • Manatee Springs
  • O'Leno
  • Oscar Scherer
  • Paynes Prairie
  • Rainbow Springs
  • River Rise
  • Stephen Foster
  • Suwanee River
  • Suwannee River Wilderness Trail River Camps
  • Talbot Island
