PONTE VEDRA BEACH Fla.-- One of our area's most scenic routes is about to transform into Florida's biggest garage sale, from Ponte Vedra to Flagler Beach.
A1A will play home to 72 miles of vendors and homeowners looking to turn their junk into someone else's treasure.
"We have 10 years of stuff that had complied over the years so we have everything from electronics and artwork, clothing, a couch, records collectibles, baseball cards, everything, so come on by," said first-time seller, Chris Hixenbaugh.
Like the rest of those planning to participate, Hixenbaugh and his dog, Amus, spent today prepping for the event.
"I'm real excited," he said. "I want to get rid of this stuff."
The event kicks off Saturday at 8 a.m. and it runs until all the goods are gone.
