JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Action News reporter Catherine Varnum goes up with Team Oracle to get a first hand look at what you can expect in this weekend's Air Show.
Ben Freelove was the pilot for the flight. Before you can get in the plane, you have to get all the equipment on and get a few lessons in how to get out of the plane, just in case.
Once in the air, Team Oracle flies very close together, watching and talking to each other the time the whole time. They're only about six feet apart, until the other plane went off to do some tricks.
These pilots train three to four times a day.
"You have to be in good shape, and keep your skills sharp, especially with air shows, cause we're flying so low," said Freelove.
They'll only fly about five feet above the water this weekend. So, everyone will get their tricks up close.
